Berhampur, August 11: Unwed mother K Deepika, who is on dharna in front of her lover K Dinesh Kumar’s house at Desi Behera Sahi here, on Friday claimed that K Dinesh Kumar is the biological father of her child.
DNA analysis report prepared by State Forensic Science Laboratory confirmed that the boy in question is the son of Dinesh, she said.
Worth mentioning, Deepika of the Ankuli area of the town had developed an affair with one Dinesh of Desi Behera Sahi in 2020-21. Later, Dinesh allegedly maintained a physical relationship with Deepika and impregnated her. Subsequently, Deepika gave birth to a baby boy.
Following the birth of the child, Deepika asked Dinesh to marry her to which he did not agree. Deepika lodged a complaint with the police.
Later, Deepika resorted to protesting outside her boyfriend's house here.
