Bhubaneswar, Feb, 3: With the election is impending, the political scenario is getting hot in the Parjanga assembly constituency of the Dhenkanal district.

The disgruntled BJD leaders in the Parjanga assembly segment have shown their resentment against party MLA Dr. Nrusigha Charan Sahu.

Recently, under the leadership of senior BJD leader and former Sarpanch Ramchandra Sahu, the party workers held a separate meeting in the Pangatira village of Kandahar Block. They have vehemently opposed the party MLA Nrusingha Sahu and his style of functioning. They alleged that MLA Sahu had been neglecting them and keeping them away from party activities.

So, they have decided to submit a report to the party supremo to change the leadership in the constituency in the ensuing election.

As the elections are approaching, it is being discussed that these disgruntled party workers may openly protest against the party MLA Sahu if he is fielded by the party in the ensuing elections.

In 2019, Dr Sahu, as BJD candidate won the election by a narrow margin of 740 votes from BJP candidate Bibhuti Bhushan Pradhan. MLA Sahu has been winning consecutively three times from this seat with a slender margin.

This time, it is not clear whether Dr. Sahu will contest from here or he will field his son as his successor in the ensuing election. However, the dissatisfaction among the party workers may cost the party dear In the forthcoming election, it is discussed among BJD workers.
