Jharsuguda, Nov 16: The direct flight services between Jharuguda and Bengaluru started yesterday.
According to the official information, an Indigo plane from Bengaluru landed at Veer Surendra Sai Airport in Jharsuguda at 12.40 pm amid a water salute to the aircraft. Then, the plane took off at 1 pm for Bengaluru.
Worth mentioning, Indigo launched its flight services between Jharsuguda and Kolkata on November 5.
Spice Jet has been offering flight services connecting Veer Surendra Sai Airport to Kolkata and New Delhi, while Alliance Air operates flights from the same airport to Bhubaneswar. The growing air connectivity to various destinations in the country has brought joy to the local residents.
