Deogarh, January 15: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan embarked on a visit to Deogarh today, commencing the day with prayers at the Gopalji temple. Subsequently, he participated in a cleanliness drive organized on the temple premises, aligning with the upcoming consecration of the Rama Temple in Ayodhya on January 22.
Later in the day, Pradhan paid visits to the newly constructed Hanuman temple and the Champeswar temple, offering prayers for the well-being of the people of Odisha. Additionally, he attended the PM-JANMAN program in Barkote.
During the PM-JANMAN program, Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually disbursed the first installment to 1 lakh beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Gramin (PMAY - G) under the Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan (PM-JANMAN). The Prime Minister engaged in an interactive session with the beneficiaries, emphasizing the empowerment of tribal communities.
On the subject of tribal empowerment, Minister Pradhan asserted, "PM Modi will secure re-election in 2024, and his guarantee will be realized in the state. The blueprint for the prosperity of individuals like Paudi Bhuinya lies in the PM-JANMAN scheme, making them Crorepatis. PM Modi's assurance stands at a solid 100 out of 100."
