Dhamra schoolgirls send rakhis to soldiers with love and prayers for protection

Bhadrak, August 8: In a touching gesture ahead of Raksha Bandhan, young girl students from Sai Ananta International School in Dhamra, under Chandbali block of Bhadrak district, have sent handmade rakhis to Indian soldiers stationed across the country.

The initiative, filled with patriotism and affection, saw students bringing rakhis from their homes, which were then carefully collected and packed to be delivered to the brave hearts guarding the nation. Each rakhi symbolized not just the traditional bond of protection between brothers and sisters, but also heartfelt gratitude towards the soldiers who remain on duty day and night to ensure the safety of every citizen.

Teachers and staff at the school supported the students in this noble effort, helping organize the packaging and sending of the rakhis. The school campus was filled with emotion as the little girls, one after another, placed their rakhis in the collection box, hoping they would reach their "soldier brothers" by Rakhi Purnima.

"This is our way of expressing love, respect, and solidarity with our jawans who protect us selflessly," said one of the teachers involved in the effort.

The gesture not only reinforces the spirit of Raksha Bandhan but also highlights the values of patriotism and gratitude among the younger generation.
