Star couple closes Jayanti Reddy show with unmatched elegance

Popular actors Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth brought a wave of regal romance to the runway, closing out Jayanti Reddy’s showcase at India Couture Week 2026. Stepping out in perfectly coordinated gold and beige ensembles, the couple highlighted the designer’s signature focus on traditional Indian artistry. Taking place on July 28 at the Taj Palace in New Delhi, the show marked a significant shift in modern Indian fashion, where designers are increasingly trading heavy bridal excess for lighter, more comfortable construction.

Quiet Luxury Takes Center Stage

Titled 'The Gilded Era', the new line features 60 couture looks, comprising 50 womenswear and 10 menswear pieces. Traditional embroidery techniques like zardozi and complex threadwork drive the visual appeal, though they now appear on cleaner, modern silhouettes. This approach reflects Reddy's philosophy of letting the actual craft stand out without overwhelming the wearer.

Speaking about her latest work, Jayanti Reddy explained, "The Gilded Era is my exploration of a quieter kind of luxury. I wanted to create pieces where craftsmanship speaks softly but leaves a lasting impression, where every embellishment, every texture and every silhouette feels intentional."

Decoding Stunning Runway Looks

Aditi radiated timeless charm in a strapless peplum bodice featuring a deep neckline and rich zardozi work. Shimmering sequins and delicate beadwork caught the spotlight beautifully. Bypassing standard lehengas, she opted for a flowing sharara-inspired skirt to soften the structured top. Diamond jewelry, plum-toned lips, and softly waved hair completed her glowing appearance.

Siddharth perfectly complemented her look wearing an ivory-beige sherwani paired with draped silk dhoti trousers. His outfit combined classic embroidery with an easy, open-front style. He finished the traditional appearance with a handsome pearl-and-emerald necklace, perfectly capturing the mood of Reddy's nuanced luxury.
