Bhubaneswar, Jan 24: The incessant rainfall has been observed in various locations in northern Odisha and scattered instances in southern Odisha over the past 24 hours. Simultaneously, dense fog affected one or two areas in Odisha on Wednesday morning.
The Bhubaneswar weather office reported a notable drop in minimum temperatures at a couple of places in the districts of south interior Odisha, a considerable rise at a few locations in north coastal Odisha, and one or two spots in north interior Odisha. Temperatures were significantly below normal at isolated places.
Malkangiri recorded the highest maximum temperature at 31.2°C, while Sundargarh noted the lowest minimum temperature at 11.6°C in the plains of Odisha.
