Bhubaneswar, February 8: Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati has on Saturday appointed Professor Deepak Kumar Sahu as the new Vice-Chancellor of Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT) in Burla.

 At 59 years old, Professor Sahu currently serves as a professor at Cochin University of Science and Technology. With over 14 years of teaching experience, he has contributed significantly to academia, publishing numerous research papers and journals across various fields. In addition, he has mentored six researchers who have successfully earned their PhD degrees under his guidance.

 This appointment marks an important milestone for the university, and Professor Sahu’s wealth of experience and knowledge is expected to bring valuable leadership to the VSSUT community.
