Berhampur, June 29: The Odisha Vigilance on Sunday arrested Susil Kumar Panda, Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) of Ganjam block for amassing disproportionate assets.

Following seizure of huge ill-gotten assets about 163% of his known sources of income from his possession, Panda was sent to judicial custody on Sunday.

During raids conducted by the vigilance sleuths, a multi-storey building, two flats and six high-value pots, Rs 2.05 lakh, 126 gram gold and bank and insurance deposits, amounting to Rs 1.11 crore, were detected.
