Bhubaneswar: Local favorite Tanvi Patri emerged champion in both girls U-15 and U-17 girls singles events of the 37thSub Junior (U-17 and U-17) National Badminton Championships 2025 at Kalinga Stadium here from 1-6 December, Tanvi edged out Avni Vikram Govind of Telangana and Diksha S R of Tamil Nadu in the U-15 and U-17 girls singles finals respectively.

 

In the boys U-15 boys singles final, Karnataka boy Pushkar Sai defeated Delhi shuttler Harshit Khatri and claimed the titles. However, Jagsher Singh Khangurra of Punjab defeated his State-mate Viraj Sharma in the U-17 boys final and emerged champion.

 

Final Results Doubles:

Girls U-15 Doubles: Sharayu Ranjane and Soyara Shelar (Maharashtra) beat Swati Nayak and Nimeesha Ojha (Odisha).

 

Boys U-15 Doubles: Swayamdyuti Ghose and Shaurya Singh Rana (West Bengal/ Uttarakhand) beat Jaivardhan Hodda and Harshit Khatri (Haryana/Delhi).

 

Mixed Doubles U-15: Nithin Prakash Ramasamy and Vijaya Tejashwin (Tamil Nadu/Andhra Pradesh) beat Swayamdyuti Ghose and Neha S (West Bengal/ Tamil Nadu).

 

Girls U-17 Doubles: Deepak Raj Aditi and Ponnamma B V Vriddhi (Karnataka) beat Aanayan A and Anjana Manikandan (Tamil Nadu).

 

Boys U-17 Doubles: Pavan S and Punith s (Karnataka) beat Aanayan Borah and Malsawmhlua (Assam/ Mizoram).

Mix Doubles U-17: Punith S and Deepak Raj Aditi (Karnataka) beat Arnav Sharma and Anjana Manikandan (Rajasthan/ Tamil Nadu).
