Bhubaneswar: India continued their bad form and suffered yet another defeat from Argentina in the FIH Men’s Hockey Pro League at Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium in Rourkela on Sunday. The host lost all the four matches at Rourkela and yet to open their account in the point table.

After the barren first quarter, a double strike by Marcucci Tadeo pushed India into a corner, in form Tomas Domene opened the account for Argentina in the 18thminute. Tadeo joined the party by scoring a brace in the 28thand 49thminute and in between Lucio Mendez scored a goal in the 43rdminute. The match moved to the final quarter with four goals led by Argentina.

India fought back, but it was not enough to stop the visitors. Lalage Aditya Arjun and Snajay scored a goal each in the 50thand 59thminute respectively. However, Argentina scripted back-to-back wins against India and lost both the matches against Belgium at Rourkela.
