Cuttack, Nov 19: Students from the Electronics and Telecommunication Department at Bose Engineering College in Cuttack have achieved a remarkable milestone with the introduction of an advanced AI teacher, developed using the PI Robot model. After six months of dedicated effort, the AI teacher is now operational at the college's innovation center, delivering accurate and immediate responses to a wide range of inquiries.
Inspired by a similar initiative in Kerala, the students undertook an extensive process of research, coding, and hardware development entirely on their own. The project utilizes a ChatGPT server for data storage and emphasizes project-based learning, reinforcing the concept that AI can be a job creator rather than merely a job replacer. This innovative approach equips students with valuable skills and practical experience in the rapidly evolving field of artificial intelligence.
The next phase for the students involves enhancing the robot’s capabilities, particularly its movement features, to make it more interactive and effective in educational settings. This groundbreaking project not only highlights the technical proficiency of the students but also showcases the transformative potential of AI in the education sector.
As educational institutions increasingly integrate technology into their curricula, Bose Engineering College's AI teacher stands out as a pioneering effort that could redefine teaching methodologies. By embracing such innovations, the college is setting a precedent for the future of education, where AI plays a pivotal role in enhancing learning experiences and outcomes for students.
