Cuttack, Feb 20: The Cuttack city is going to get projects of around Rs 1800 crore within the next two weeks.
Completion of several ongoing projects is on the last leg including much awaited box drain work, Sishu Bhawan, City Hospital, multipurpose indoor stadium. Similarly, foundation stone will be laid for several big projects during this period, including extension of Acharya Harihar Regional Cancer Centre, the district administration said.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is scheduled to inaugurate the much awaited Box Drain Project of Rs 450 crore to get rid of water logging and make the city crowd free on February 29.
Similarly, the second big project is renovation of Barabati Stadium, which is slated to be thrown open on February 27.
The Chief Minister will lay foundation stone of the extension project of Acharya Harihar Regional Cancer Centre on March 2 through video conferencing.
Besides, six multipurpose indoor stadiums in the district will be inaugurated soon. The City Hospital renovation project will also be inaugurated on February 26.
