CRPF jawan’s wife found dead with throat slit in Nayagarh, Police initiate probe

Nayagarh, June 11: In a tragic incident, a woman was found dead with her throat slit at Kotanisila village, situated under the Rajasunakhala outpost in Nayagarh district, on Monday. The deceased, identified as Namita Dehuri, was the wife of a CRPF jawan.
According to sources, the miscreants reportedly barged her home and brutally killed her by slitting her throat.
Local residents found Namita's body lying in a pool of blood and promptly alerted the police. Upon receiving the information, police officials seized the body and sent it for post-mortem. Meanwhile, the police have launched a thorough investigation into the matter.
Although the real motive behind the heinous act remains unclear, authorities have detained two youths from the village in connection with the case.
