Phulbani, May 17: A Covid infected divyang woman has delivered her child safely at Brahmanapada health centre in Phulbani. The Medical Officer of the Health Centre Dr Nishant Nayak and his team got the tough task safely adhering to Corona Protocol. Sources Said, a pregnant divyag who is a native of the Vidyut Colony under Brahmanapada village had tested Corona positive. Subsequently, she was admitted to the Covid Care Centre at Badagaon. However, she felt labour pain in the wee hours of Saturday, as a result she was shifted to Brahmanapada health centre for delivery. Doctor Nishant Nayak and his associates handled the cesareans with care and delivered the child amid Corona protocols. The mother and the baby are both well. Utmost care is being taken. However, the new born is suspected to be Covid positive. Sample has been sent for testing, said the treating doctor.
