Covid-19 negative report mandatory for entry into Odisha

Bhubaneswar, April 9: People coming to Odisha will have to produce RT-PCR negative report obtained within 72 hours of entry or the final vaccination certificate. This is applicable to all models of travel and will come into force from 12 April, the Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) said. This was part of the state government’s fresh guidelines issued by the Chief Secretary following a spike in Covid-19 cases in the state. The people coming without Covid negative report shall have to undergo seven-day mandatory home/institutional quarantine. As many as 1282 positive cases were reported in Odisha during the last 24 hours, the health department said.
