Bhubaneswar, Jan 27: The much-anticipated Khandagiri Yatra has begun, with vibrant pandals and a bustling atmosphere. The streets of the city are set to come alive as fans gather to catch a glimpse of popular actor Piyush Tripathi in action. The ticket counters have been crowded with eager fans; all are hoping to secure their tickets to witness the mesmerizing performances of Piyush, whose posters have been strategically placed to attract Yatra enthusiasts.

The much-loved play "Tu Mo Bajrangi," written by Dr. Deepak Jena, which has been a huge hit this year, will be staged at Khandagiri, following prior announcements.

According to sources, preparations for the first phase of the Yatra are completed, and it will run from the 27th Jan to the 7th February. Seven pandals will host over 15 opera parties, offering a variety of performances. In the first phase, seven parties will perform in the field, with "Ashok Samrat" being the first show of the year, staged by the Hare Krishna Mahatab Cultural Forum at the Aiginia stage.

The renowned drama "Adha Rahigala Aama Kahani" will also be performed here, with a stellar cast including actor Milan, cinema actor Ankit, villain Manoj, comedian Ganesh, actress Sara, and villainess Sarojini. The Sanatan Seva Samiti will bring its popular drama "Konark Gananaatya" to the Ghatikia stage, and the Indira Cultural Youth Committee will bring the much-discussed play "Tu Mo Bajrangi" to the Jagamara stage.

Veterans like Pandaa, Mituna, and Nalini will star in the hit drama "Tu Bodeh Mo Bhagyare Nahun" at the Ghatikia stage, while at the Jagamara stage, the play "Chandashoka" will be performed by Ananta Keshari Deb and the youth cultural committee. The final act of the first phase will include "Swarnna Mahal," which will be showcased at the Jagamara stage from the 29th.

This much-awaited performance promises to feature senior actor Subash Behera, whose acting is expected to draw large crowds. The show "Janwar," set to be performed from the 29th, has generated significant buzz.

On the 30th, the Kalinga Cultural Forum will bring the epic drama "Indrabhuban" to the stage at Jagamara, concluding this stage of the Yatra with its incredible performances.

This Yatra promises a month of cultural extravaganza, with enthusiastic crowds and some of the best local talent taking the stage. Fans of Piyush Tripathi and other artists alike are eagerly awaiting the coming days of performances and celebrations.
