Cuttack, Oct 18: In a bid to dig out some significant clues in connection with the high-profile Police SI recruitment scam, the Crime Branch on Saturday raided on kingpin Muna Mohanty’s establishments.

According to reports, sleuths of the Odisha Crime Branch conducted a raid at the ancestral home of the prime accused, Muna Mohanty, at the Kalapathar village under Baideswar police limit in Cuttack.

During the search, the Crime Branch digged out its best to find out sizeable evidence, especially SI Exam questionpapers and aspirants certificates linked to the organised job fraud.

Earlier, Muna Mohanty along with his two aides was nabbed by police from a Daspalla-based farmhouse, while hiding.

Worth mentioning, Muna Mohanty was the master brain behind the SI recruitment scam who was managing a syndicate reportedly in Odisha, West Bengal and Telangana, to sale out Police SI jobs in lieu of almost Rs 25 lakh a post.
