Kendrapara, July 12: In a tragic incident, a married couple was found hanging in Odisha’s Kendrapara district on Friday.
It was revealed after the locals and police spotted the bodies from a closed room, following foul smell came out from it.
The incident took place at Fakirabad Jena Sahi under Derabish police station.
The deceased have been identified as Kartik Jena (25) and wife Pinki Das (21).
On being informed, the Derabish police went to the spot and seized the bodies from a bedroom.
Primary investigation says, the couple took the extreme step to commit suicide due to acute penury.
An UD case has been registered in this connection.Further investigation is underway to ascertaind the reason behind the bid, said the Police.
