New Delhi, February 18: Union IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw highlighted India's commitment to the practical applications of artificial intelligence (AI) in addressing large-scale challenges, including enhancing enterprise productivity and providing solutions in critical sectors like healthcare, agriculture, and climate change.

While speaking at the AI Impact Summit's research symposium, Vaishnaw also expressed his satisfaction with the active participation and optimism displayed by young people during the AI Expo held the previous day.

He noted that nearly 2.5 lakh attendees, predominantly under the age of 30, took part in the event, underscoring the growing enthusiasm for AI innovation among the youth.
