Bhubaneswar, December 20: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi visited the renowned Statue of Equality in Hyderabad on Saturday and offered his respects to the revered saint Sri Ramanujacharya. The statue, a symbol of equality, inclusiveness, and social harmony, stands as a tribute to the teachings of the 11th-century philosopher and reformer who championed the message of universal brotherhood and devotion.

During his visit, CM Majhi reflected on the profound significance of the monument, emphasizing its role as a beacon of timeless values that continue to resonate across generations. He described the statue as a powerful representation of equality and social justice, qualities that align with Odisha’s own people-centric vision.

CM Majhi, who was in Hyderabad to participate in two major investment conclaves, expressed his satisfaction with the successful outcomes of the events. Odisha’s proactive approach to investment and business-friendly policies has borne fruit, with the state attracting a remarkable Rs. 67,000 crore worth of investments. The Chief Minister highlighted that such investments will contribute significantly to the state’s economic growth and employment opportunities, fostering sustainable development and prosperity for its people.
