Congress appoints new district presidents in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Sep 26: The Congress party has restructured its organizational leadership in Odisha by appointing new presidents for 35 District Congress Committees (DCCs) across the state.

All India Congress Committee (AICC) president Mallikarjun Kharge approved the appointments, which were announced by party general secretary K.C. Venugopal in a press release today. The move comes as part of the party’s ongoing ‘Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan’, aimed at strengthening its grassroots network ahead of upcoming elections.

The new appointees include senior leaders, youth representatives, and women leaders, reflecting a mix of experience and inclusivity.

List of newly appointed District Congress Presidents:

  2. Balasore – Satya Shiba Das

  3. Bargarh – Hardeep Singh

  4. Bhadrak – Nalini Kanta Mohanty
