Congress and BJD workers of Angul and Dhenkanal districts join BJP

Bhubaneswar, Jan 17:  Hundreds of Biju Janata Dal (BJD) and Congress workers of Dhenkanal and Angul districts have joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at the state party headquarters in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday.

Union Education and Skill Development Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan and State BJP president Manmohan Samal welcomed the new members into the saffron party with party caps.

Hundreds of workers of BJD and Congress joined the BJP at the 'Misrana Parba' held at the headquarters of the party's state unit. 

Renowned doctor ,Dr. Bishwajit Nanda, and Sukumar Sahu, a well-known social worker in Angul district, joined the saffron party. The new members said that they are inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's good governance, welfare, and policies.

On this occasion, Union Education and Skill Development Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan said “ BJP organization will be further strengthened in the state, the Party will form the government in Odisha. PM Modi is also committed to the development of Odisha, which is why other party workers are keen to join the BJP and strengthen PM Modi at the Centre.
