Bolangir, Oct 27: In a shocking incident, three person allegedly murdered their friend in Balangir district of Odisha yesterday. The incident occurred in Antarla village under the Deogaon Police Station limits.

The deceased has been identified as Sujit Bhoi.

According to reports, the four friends were enjoying a feast near ‘Phadighara’ in Antarla village when a verbal altercation broke out among them. The argument escalated quickly, and three of the friends reportedly attacked Sujit with sharp weapons.

The attack proved fatal, and Sujit was declared dead at the scene.

Upon receiving information about the crime, Deogaon police immediately arrived at the location and launched an investigation into the matter. Meanwhile, the police have detained the three men involved in the attack and are currently questioning them in connection with the murder.
