Cuttack, Dec 29: After being on the run for several days, the most wanted mafia gangster, Tajuddin Khan, has been arrested by the police. He was caught near Bhattarika Shasaṅg while reportedly feasting in the forest.

Tajuddin Khan was allegedly involved in transporting wild animals and meat from regions including Badamba, Narsinghpur, Tigiria, and Baramān Jungle. A special police team conducted a raid near Bhattarikā Shasāṅg, leading to his arrest.

The gangster has multiple cases registered against him: three at Tigiria Police Station, two at Athagad Police Station, and two at Badamba Police Station. Additionally, three NDPS cases are pending against him. Following his arrest under Badamba Police Station Case No. 377/25, he has been sent to court.

Police had been actively searching for Tajuddin Khan for several days, and his capture is considered a major success in the ongoing crackdown on organized crime in the region.
