Bhubaneswar, March 17: CM’s Grievance Cell will remain closed for people from Sunday due to the Model Code of Conduct.
As the Model Code of Conduct for the Lok Sabha and Odisha Assembly elections came into effect, the Grievance Cell was closed today.
It will resume its public hearing and grievances redressal after the process of the General Election is over that is from the second week of June 2024.
An official release from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) on Sunday stated that as the Model Code is in force, the joint hearing of Monday’s public grievances by the District Magistrates and Superintendents of Police(SP) has also been adjourned.
Odisha Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena has officially notified the District Collectors and SPs that the model code of conduct has come into force with the announcement of Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in the state.
