Meanwhile, funeral preparations are underway at the Vidya Pratishthan Ground in Baramati for the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader. Ajit Pawar's mortal remains were taken to the ground where thousands of supporters gathered to pay their respects.

The funeral procession for Maharashtra’s longest-serving Deputy CM (non-consecutively) is set to begin at 9 AM from the Vidya Pratishthan campus (Gadima). The procession will pass through the city, allowing people to offer their tributes to Pawar, before concluding at the Vidya Pratishthan Ground, where the funeral ceremony will take place at 11 AM.
