Bhubaneswar, Nov 8: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday unveiled the ‘Ama Odisha Nabin Odisha Yojana’ in three more districts of the State.
The ‘Ama Odisha Nabin Odisha’ initiative, geared towards fortifying infrastructure for the progress of Odisha, was inaugurated on the 12th day of this ambitious program in the districts of Sundargarh, Dhenkanal and Boudh districts via video conferencing.
Under the initiative, six constituencies of Sundargarh district have received a total of Rs 139.50 crores. These constituencies are – Sundargarh, Talasara, Birmitrapur, Raghunathpalli, Rajgangpur and Banei. A total of 3,016 projects will be implemented in 279 gram panchayats in 17 blocks of these constituencies.
Similarly, Rs 106 crores have been sanctioned for four constituencies of Dhenkanal district. These constituencies are – Dhenkanal, Kamakhyanagar, Parjang, Hindola. A total of 3,053 projects will be implemented in 212 gram panchayats of eight blocks of these constituencies.
Similarly, Rs 34.50 crores have been given for two constituencies of Boudh district. These constituencies are – Kantamal and Boudh. A total of 1,159 projects will be implemented in 69 gram panchayats of three blocks of these constituencies.
Notably, as per the program, a total of Rs 3,397 crore will be spent across the state under the program in which 6,794 panchayats will be benefitted. A total of 90,723 projects will be implemented across the state.
The program will focus on each panchayat and village. Each village will get Rs 10 lakh and each panchayat will get Rs 50 lakh.
