Bhubaneswar, May 12: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) president and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik held marathon campaigns in western Odisha on Sunday to garner support from the voters for BJD nominees.
The BJD attended public meetings in Balangir as well as Bargarh districts to inspire voters in favor of the BJD candidates.
The CM landed at the Utkela Airport in Kalahandi district and then proceeded to Sindhekela under Bongomunda block by helicopter. Naveen also attended a public meeting at Sindhekela.
Similarly, the BJD chief addressed an election rally at Ganrei village under Muribahal block. Thereaftere, he led campaigns in Balangir constituency. The CM participated in a public meeting at Kantabanji where he asserted people of an integral development of the Balangir district.
Elaborate security arrangements were made for the CM’s visit to the two districts.
