Sukma (Chhattisgarh), November 9: A member of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) sustained injuries following an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast in Sukma district, Chhattisgarh, on Sunday.

According to officials, the explosion occurred at around 1:45 pm in the forested hills near Gogunda, located within the Fulbagdi police station jurisdiction. The incident took place while a security team was conducting an area domination operation.

Authorities have confirmed that the device, planted by suspected Naxalite militants, was a pressure-triggered IED. The injured jawan has been provided medical attention, and an investigation into the attack is underway.
