CM Naveen decides to buy land for rail over-bridge at Rajgangpur directly from people

Sundargarh, Aug 17: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday decided to buy land required for the construction of a rail over-bridge in Rajgangpur area in Odisha’s Sundargarh district directly from people.

Following instructions of the Chief Minister, 5T Secretary V K Pandian had visited Sundergarh district on March 11th and 12th. During his visit, he reviewed the construction work of various development programs and also heard the grievances of the people. 

Later, he came to know about the land acquisition problem for the construction of a rail over-bridge at Rajgangpur in the district.

He then brought this to the knowledge of the Chief Minister and after discussing Patnaik decided that the state government will purchase the land required for the rail over-bridge directly from the people and speed up the construction work. 

This rail over-bridge will be constructed at Rajgangpur Mauza between Sonakhan and Kansbahal stations in Sundargarh district.
