Bhubaneswar, March 8: Senior BJP leader Bijoy Mohapatra on Friday thanked Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for inducting his son Arabinda Mohapatra into BJD.
Responding to the query of reporters, Mohapatra said, “With joining my son,the Chief Minister has blessed him a good future. I had a special relationship with Naveen for years. My son Arabinda’s joining in the BJD will re-flash and rejuvenate my sweeter memoirs.”
Elaborating his son’s political interest and affiliation, Mohapatra pointed out that Arabinda has been serving the constituency visiting gram panchayats and the block maintaining wide rapport with the people over the last two years.
“Arabinda won’t face any problem if he is fielded here as a public representative. People have already well accepted him. Now his presence in the BJD, will naturally boost people’s expectations and encourage them”, added Mohapatra.
