Class-X student found dead on Khordha school premises, probe on

Though the reason behind his death is yet to be ascertined, it is being suspected that, he might have committed suicide as the principal of the school had taken away his mobile phone last night

Khordha, Nov 3: A class-X student was found hanging from a tree on his school premises in Odisha’s Khordha district on Friday.

The deceased student has been identified as Pubilas Karji, a native ofGajapati district of Odisha. Karji was a class-X student of Seventh-Day Adventist Higher Secondary School.

Though the reason behind his death is yet to be ascertined, it is being suspected that, he might have committed suicide as the principal of the school had taken away his mobile phone last night.

Worth mentioning, the student had allegedly kept a mobile phone while the inmates are prohibited from keeping mobile phones. While the principal came to know about that, he snatched away the phone from the student.

Being informed, police reached the spot, seized the body and started investigation into the incident.
