Vijayawada (Andhra Pradesh), August 22: Andhra Pradesh BJP spokesperson Shaik Baji on Saturday accused the CJP of acting as an agent of the Congress party, alleging that the organisation was politicising the Rampura Kanwarpura incident in Rajasthan and blowing the issue out of proportion.
He claimed that the CJP only raises issues that suit its agenda and does not take action on matters like paper leaks and employment-related concerns in other states.
Speaking to ANI, Baji said, "There is a small primary school in Rampur village, located in the Bagru assembly constituency, where about 20-25 children study. However, instead of being treated as students, these children are made to graze cattle. Members of the Cockroach Janta Party arrived in the village yesterday to assess the situation and clashed with the locals... In an attempt to turn this into a national issue, the CJP has adopted an anti-government stance... They are trying to blow this issue out of proportion across the country."
"We want to ask the CJP a question: the CJP has effectively become the 'Congress Janata Party'--that is, an agent of the Congress party. They do not intervene when exam papers are leaked in Punjab or when there are employment-related issues in the state's pharmacy sector... They might make some noise about it, but they take no concrete action. Similarly, they do nothing about issues like the JPSC paper leak in Jharkhand. They only react to problems when getting involved suits their agenda. The game the CJP is playing is not real politics; they are working to advance the Congress party's agenda and are acting entirely at the behest of the Congress," he further said.
His remarks come a day after tensions escalated sharply in Rajasthan's education sector, following a violent confrontation in Rampura Kanwarpura, Jaipur district, where a visiting delegation of the CJP was allegedly ambushed.
Following the incident, Jaipur Police said FIRs have been registered on behalf of both parties.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP) Lalit Sharma stated that complaints were received from both the villagers and the workers associated with the CJP, based on which the FIRs were registered.
