CHSE technical glitch gives student 102 marks out of 100

Bhubaneswar, May 22: A major discrepancy has come to light in the Plus-II examination results published by the Council of Higher Secondary Education Odisha (CHSE), after a student of Ravenshaw Junior College was reportedly awarded 102 marks out of 100 in English.

The student, Biswajit Oram, was shown to have secured 102 marks in the subject, triggering confusion and widespread discussion over the accuracy of the results.

Responding to the issue, Ravenshaw Junior College Principal Chiranjeebi Mahapatra said the anomaly was likely caused by a technical or computer-related error. He informed that the matter has already been brought to the attention of CHSE authorities for necessary correction.

Meanwhile, CHSE has also acknowledged the mistake and attributed it to a computer-generated technical glitch. The council is expected to rectify the error after verification.
