Mumbai, Jan 15: Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty arrived in Puri with her family on Wednesday to seek blessings at the renowned Shree Jagannath Temple. Under tight security, she reached the Singhadwara and was welcomed by her designated priest, the Kaulika Panda, before proceeding for darshan, the Shree Mandir administration confirmed.

Known for her spiritual inclinations, Shilpa has visited the town on previous occasions. Over a decade ago, she was in Puri during a film shoot and attracted attention during a visit to the Sakhigopal temple, when authorities raised concerns regarding certain protocols at the site.

Her current visit continues a pattern of celebrity pilgrimages to sacred temples across India, reflecting her devotion and her desire to involve her family in spiritual practices. During her stay in Odisha, she is expected to spend time in prayer and reflection, marking another chapter in her spiritual journey.
