Nuapada, Nov 15: Nuapada MLA Elect Jay Dholakia attributed his landslide victory to the locals of Nuapada, applauding their unwavering supports in getting him win the byelection.

In a special interview to the News7 following the declaration of the poll result, Jay Dholakia said, “I was damn sure that I will win the horse race. However, the stunning margin by which I won the biggest ever battle in my life, had never expected. It was possible for the people’s blessings showered on me for the selfless service of my departed father. Apart from it, my rapport with the locals and aboriginals of the soil, garnered public support and co-operation of the social outfits, that added to the ballots”

On the futuristic developments of the Nuapada Constituency, Dholakia said, Nuapada is on the way of development. Meanwhile, my presence in the Odisha Assembly as a people’s representative, will expedite the paces of development of the district to a higher altitude.

“During my 5-year tenure, I will try the best to transform the Nuapada landscape as of my dream, wherein basic amenities will be easily available at hand. Augmentation of farmers and women empowerment across the constituency will become more robust with my benign interventions”, Dholkia added.
