Jharsuguda, April 20: A Chhattisgarh-based bizman involved in gambling activities in Odisha, was held by on Sunday.
The Town Police Jharsuguda, apprehended the accused identified as Govind Singhania, a former business partner of late Odisha Health Minister Naba Das, from Raipur.
According to the police, following a raid conducted on April 16 in the Jhareshwar Temple in a gambling den, it was revealed that Singhania was the head behind the illegal betting that was rampant in the Jharsuguda town.
