New Delhi, December 2: The second day of the winter session of Parliament was adjourned at 2:05 PM on Tuesday, amid repeated demands by the Opposition to hold a discussion on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls across the country. The Lok Sabha was adjourned for the second consecutive day on December 2 due to ongoing protests by the Opposition over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. Despite appeals from Speaker-in-charge MP Dilip Saika for decorum, the Opposition MPs persisted with their demands and slogans, disrupting proceedings.

The House saw three adjournments, starting at 11 AM, with only brief moments of activity for committee reports and Question Hour. Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju criticized the Opposition for hindering Parliament's work, emphasizing that all issues are important but must be debated within the rules of the House. The disruptions continue as the government urges MPs to cooperate for a smooth session.
