Central Railway has announced a recruitment drive for Apprentice posts, offering a total of 2424 positions. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of the Railway Recruitment Cell, Central Railway, located at rrccr.com. The registration period begins on July 16, 2024, and ends on August 15, 2024.
Educational qualification:
Candidates must have passed the 10th class examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system) with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized Board. Additionally, they should possess a National Trade Certificate.
Age limit:
Applicants should be between 15 to 24 years old as of July 15, 2024. There is relaxation in the upper age limit for SC/ST candidates (5 years) and OBC candidates (3 years).
Selection process:
Selection will be based on a merit list prepared from the percentage of marks obtained in the matriculation (minimum 50% aggregate) and ITI marks in the relevant trade. The merit list will be calculated as the simple average of marks in matriculation and ITI.
Application fee:
A non-refundable application fee of Rs 100 is applicable, payable online through debit card, credit card, Internet Banking, SBI Challan, etc. SC/ST/PWD/Women candidates are exempt from paying the application fee.
