​​​​​​​Ganjam, Dec 28: While IAS & OAS coaching are becoming nightmares for the common students, the Ganjam District Admin in Odisha, is all set to provide free UPSC coaching to the aspirants.

The Admin has resolved to guide students with essential study materials and career counseling to support them prepare for civil services with other fabulous jobs.

The announcement was made by Ganjam District Collector V. Keerthi Vasan

Under the programme, students from the district will be provided free coaching. However, a selection test will be conducted for it to shortlist the meritorious candidates. The selection test for the programme is scheduled to be held on January 25.

According to sources, at least 50 students will be selected for the first lot coaching programme.

In an innovative vision, the district administration has resolved to to involve the IAS and OAS officers serving in the district, to guide the aspirants.

“We are going to oragnise a guidance module for the candidates of the district preparing for various competitive exams including OPSC, UPSC, OSSC and OSSSC. It has been named as Ganjam Lakhya Niketan. In the first phase, an integrated predatory course for OPSC and UPSC will be arranged,” said V. Keerthi Vasan, District Collector, Ganjam.

Students, aspirants and guardians, have applauded the vision of the District Collector in inducting his expertise and inspiration in career counseling.
