Earning this distinction required significant operational discipline. The airline recorded an impressive on-time performance (OTP) rate of 78.12% throughout the year. While Philippine Airlines took the top honor with an 83.12% success rate, IndiGo’s presence in the top tier highlights its dominance in the Indian aviation sector.

For a flight to be considered "on time," it must arrive at its gate within 14 minutes and 59 seconds of the scheduled time.
