New Delhi, Ap 4: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is anticipated to announce the Class 10 board examination results for 2026 by mid-April, ahead of the Class 12 results. This early release is likely due to the second board examination for Class 10 scheduled for May 2026. While students are eagerly awaiting the results, CBSE has not confirmed an official date yet, and the results could be declared at any time soon.
In 2025, CBSE released both Class 10 and Class 12 results on May 13, but this year’s schedule may differ to accommodate the second examination cycle for Class 10 students. The Class 10 board exams concluded on March 11, while Class 12 exams are still ongoing and will end on April 10. Both exams commenced on February 17.
This year, over 43 lakh students are participating in the board exams, with approximately 25 lakh appearing for Class 10 and 18.5 lakh for Class 12. The Class 10 exams were held at 8,074 centres, while the Class 12 exams are being conducted at 7,574 centres across the country.
