CBSE Class X and XII Theory Exams on February 15: Know details here

New Delhi, Oct 26: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class X and Class XII Theory Exams will be conducted on February 15, 2025.
The Practical examinations and Internal Assessments for both class 10 and 12 will commence on 1st January 2025.
The CBSE has issued a notification in this connection on Saturday.
Apart from the key date for the Theory Exam, the CBSE has announced the subject-wise mark distribution for CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations 2025.
However, for the winter-bound schools, the Practical/Project/lnternal Assessment for the session 2024-25 for Classes 10 and 12 will be conducted from November 5 to December 5, 2024.
CBSE also released separate SOPs and guidelines for conduction of the Board examination in winter bound schools.
According to the notifications, the board mandates a 75% attendance of a student to be eligible for the board examination. However, a 25% relaxation is offered only to students in cases of exigencies such as - medical emergencies, participation in national or international sports events, and other serious reasons, provided the necessary documentation is submitted.
