Bhubaneswar, July 10:The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) picked up a Chief Manager of Mahanadi Coalfields Limited(MCL) on Thursday while receiving bribe.
The tinted MCL official has been identified as Akhilesh Kumar Verma, Chief Manager(Mines), MCL, Basundhara Area, Sundargarh.
The CBI sleuths took Verma to custody after he was caught red-handed with Rs 30,000 bribe.
Further investigation is underway.
