Bhubaneswar, Aug 6: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Saturday arrested Charchit Mishra, the son of noted industralist from Odisha, Mahima Mishra in connection with the high-profile bribery case. Charchit Mishra appeared before the CBI at its office in Bhubaneswar for further interrogation in connection with a case of bribery today morning Besides, Mahima Mishra yesterday appeared at the CBI office in Bhubaneswar for interrogation. Earlier on Thursday, Charchit Mishra was grilled at his residence in Cuttack. Worth mentioning, the CBI teams had raided office and residence of Mahima Mishra on allegations of bribery on Thursday. The searches were also conducted at the office of Orissa Stevedores Limited (OSL) in Badapadia locality of Paradip town in the case. The sleuths recovered Rs 84.5 lakh during searches at various locations in Cuttack and Paradip. The central agency had questioned Chief Mechanical Engineer Saroj Das and Manager, port operations of KCT Group Sumant Rout during searches at the 100 Millions, a guest house of Paradip Port, in a case related to Rs 25 lakh bribery.
