Subarnapur, Sept 6: Panic gripped Nuabazar area in Binika town of Subarnapur district on Saturday morning after a car suddenly went up in flames in the middle of the road. The incident has raised serious questions after a large quantity of cannabis was found completely charred inside the vehicle.

The exact cause of the fire remains unknown. Eyewitnesses say the car caught fire abruptly, prompting locals to alert the fire services and the police. A fire brigade team promptly reached the spot and brought the blaze under control.

However, by the time emergency services arrived, the driver had reportedly fled the scene. Following the dousing of the fire, authorities discovered that the car was laden with a significant amount of cannabis, which was destroyed in the blaze.
