Bhubaneswar, Nov 10: The Indian Roads Congress (IRC) exhibition will open to the public in Bhubaneswar today, as announced by Works Minister Prithviraj Harichandan on Sunday.

Starting from 2 pm today till the morning of November 11, the exhibition will feature a wide range of road engineering technologies and construction models. It aims to offer visitors a closer look at the future developments in road infrastructure and construction methods.

"The public will have the opportunity to explore various construction models and technologies. The technical insights gained from these exhibits will be valuable when implementing such innovations in Odisha in the future. To allow more people to visit, we will keep the exhibition open for public viewing on the afternoon of November 10 and the morning of November 11," said Minister Harichandan.

The 84th session of the Indian Roads Congress, which will begin on November 7 at Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar, will bring together over 3,500 engineers, technocrats, and researchers from across India.

The event will be inaugurated by Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari, who will emphasize the importance of sustainable road development and innovation in infrastructure practices.

This four-day national event will be particularly significant, as Odisha will host the IRC for the first time in several years. The exhibition will provide the public with a rare opportunity to witness cutting-edge technologies, construction models, and research in road safety, design, and materials, offering a glimpse into the future of India's road infrastructure.
