Sambalpur, August 17: A huge building in Odisha’s Sambalpur town collapsed on Thursday following heavy rain.
No casualty was reported due to the mishap as the building was going out of accommodation for a long time.
The incident took place in the Khetrajpur area of the town in the morning.
Sources said the Marwari Dharmasala, a two-storey building at Kehetrajpur was left abandoned by the community due to its dilapidated condition. The building all of a sudden collapsed due to incessant rain lashing from the morning.
