Bhubaneswar, June 5: Amid the transition of Odisha government, beneficiaries are at utter confusion over the implementation of the Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana(BSKY).
Tens of thousands of people across the state are now in a sheer confusion as to whether the BSKY will be applicable, launched by the BJD government or it will be replaced with the Ayushman Bharat scheme, initiated by the Centre.
The issue came to fore on Wednesday after a number of private healthcare providers reportedly denied swapping the BSKY card for crediting their dues while the President of Odisha BJP, Manmohan Samal complimented the advantages of the Ayushman Bharat Scheme in comparison with the BSKY of the Odisha government
The new BJP government will implement the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, which will provide free & seamless super-specialty medi care to the common public. The free health services will also be extended to Odias residing outside the state.
